Monthly data updates

This month the Department of Work and Pensions was our focus. The updates cover a wide range of indicators – some of the highlights include:

  • Unemployment benefit, broken down by JSA and Universal Credit and gender
  • Attendance Allowance claimants, broken down by age, gender, and Higher/Lower Rate award
  • Disability Living Allowance claimants, broken down by age, gender, Higher/Lower Rate Mobility award and level of Rate Care award
  • Employment and Support Allowance claimants, broken down by age, gender and disease
  • Incapacity Benefit claimants, broken down by age, gender and disease
  • Income Support claimants, broken down by age, gender, marital status and those in receipt of disability premium top-up
  • Pension credit claimants, broken down by gender, marital status and those in receipt of the Guarantee/Saving Element top-up

Mid Year Estimate update

The recent mid-year population estimates released by the ONS were a big data update, as population figures are used as denominators in many of the calculations. For more detail, such as which indicators were updated, see our blog post.
